New Patients

Everything you need to know before your first visit to My People's Health — from booking and intake to what to bring and what happens next.

Welcome

Your First Visit, Made Simple

We are so glad you are considering My People’s Health. Starting something new for your health can feel like a big step — our goal is to make it easy, comfortable, and stress-free.

Here is what you can expect, from your very first message to your personalized plan.

Step by Step

How Your Care Begins

01

Request an Appointment

Book online, call us, or send a request through our website. We will confirm your date and time and answer any initial questions.

02

Complete Your Intake

Before your visit, we will ask for your health history, current medications and supplements, and your goals so your provider can prepare.

03

Meet Your Provider

During your consultation, we review your history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and determine whether testing would be helpful.

04

Receive Your Plan

Your provider recommends a personalized plan and explains the benefits, risks, costs, and timeline — so you can decide with confidence.

Be Prepared

What to Bring to Your First Visit

  • A valid photo ID
  • A list of current medications, vitamins, and supplements
  • Recent lab results, if you have them (ideally from the past 12 months)
  • Any relevant medical records or diagnoses you would like us to review
  • Your questions and goals — nothing is too small to ask
  • A form of payment for services received
  • For IV therapy: a light meal beforehand and a top with sleeves that roll up easily
  • Comfortable clothing so you can relax during your visit

Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your first appointment so we can welcome you and complete any remaining paperwork.

How long is the first appointment?

Plan for about 45 to 60 minutes for your initial consultation. IV therapy sessions and other treatments may require additional time, which we will confirm when you book.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to schedule a consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

Many wellness and aesthetic services are not covered by insurance. Please contact us before your visit to discuss payment options and whether any services may be eligible for reimbursement under your plan.

Can I bring a family member or friend?

Of course. Many clients feel more comfortable with a loved one by their side. Just let us know when you book.
